3. Ugly Love
Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover has all the elements that should be in a romance drama book.
This book has heartbreak, love, sex, loneliness, ‘its complicated’ tag, tragedy, and loss. These ingredients make the recipe for a perfect sad book that intrigues you from within and you find this book hard to put down.
Speaking of the story, this book is about the relationship of an airline pilot Miles Archer and Tate Collins who feel a mutual attraction.
They don’t consider themselves friends.
They don’t feel the need for love because Miles doesn’t need it and Tate doesn’t have time for a relationship, so it’s only sex on the table then.
Miles is happy with the ‘no strings attached’ situation and wants Tate to follow two rules - 1) Never ask about the past 2) Don’t expect a future
But do things ever go as planned especially in a love story?
They find it hard to stick to the rules, resulting in a twist in their tale that brings heartbreak and tears.

You will find Colleen Hoover as an absolute genius once you read this amazing romance novel.
I believe she is blessed with a creative imagination that resonates with the youth of this generation which is the basic reason for her popularity.
Ben, an aspiring novelist meets Fallon on the day before she is about to move out of Los Angeles.
They hit it off instantly and decide to spend the last day of Fallon in LA together.
Once Ben knows about Fallon’s life, it acts as a source of creative inspiration for his novel.
Both Ben and Fallon continue to meet on the same date every year taking time out of their lives until Fallon suddenly realizes that maybe Ben has been faking the perfect reality to achieve the perfect plot twist for his novel.
Maybe this is not the perfect magical love story it looks like.
What will happen to their relationship now?
5. Reminders of him
Kenna Rowen is out of prison after serving her 5-year term.
Now she wants to reunite with her 4-year-old daughter but her in-laws will obstruct any attempt to make it happen.
The reason is a horrible accident of the past that connects them all.
The only helping link to her daughter she finds is a local bar owner Ledger Ward.
He indeed wants to help Kenna to reunite with her daughter.
They start seeing each other and thus their relationship grows into a romantic one.
This relationship is risky because if it comes out in public they will lose the trust of everyone around them and maybe she won’t be able to meet her daughter ever.
Kenna has to find a way to acquit herself from the mistakes of her past so that she can rebuild a new hopeful future with her daughter.
