The second edition that came out also sold out in the same month followed by the 8000 copies of the third edition which also sold out in no time.

Charlie Higson is the author of the first few Young Bond novels.

Higson didn’t start his own chronology. He ignored all Bond books except that of Ian Fleming’s and kept the period of Young Bond novels around 1930.

This period actually suited Fleming’s James Bond chronology.

Charlie Higson wrote 6 of the Young James Bond novels after which Stephen Cole took over the job of writing Young Bond novels.
